Hebrew Perspectives

Hebrew Perspectives teaches the Judaic roots of Christianity. Jewish customs, lifestyles, & how they relate to us today. Each Monday HP teaches from a section (parasha) of the Torah (5 books of Moses), from the writings/prophets (haftarah) & from the New Covenant (Brit Chadashah). This is the same cycle that Jews follow to this day & would have been read by the disciples. Read the portion & read the insights from various Apostolic, Messianic & Rabbinical teachers. Enjoy!

About Me

My photo
Hebrew Perspectives
One day a man enters our church where I was pastoring and he begins to talk to me about the origins of Christianity being with a Jewish people with a promised Jewish messiah. For weeks he talks and I find myself intrigued by his knowledge. I begin to study the Word from the vantage of Jewish culture and language...the rest is history for me. What a beautiful truth the old testament has to offer for us to have a deeper understanding of the New Testament. You see the apostles of the New Testament did not have a New Testament...they only had the Torah, the Oral Torah, and the Prophets. They never left behind their heritage they just accepted the messiah as the "Old Testament" foretold. I was given a Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) with rabbinical commentary and I found a renewed hunger for the Bible. Won't you join me as we discover our history within the Jewish culture?!
